is premarital sex or sex before marriage okay? i know this would get different answers from different people, reflecting their views, values, society and how they were brought up.

one group would say it’s okay, “as long as it’s consensual, then no problem”. another reason we would get would be, “as long as the 2 people involved are responsible enough and ready to face the consequences”. another famous lines for a positive answer are, “if you are in the right age to do it” and “if you do it with someone you really love”.

but i would say, “no, it’s not okay”. according to merriam-webster, “consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other” is called fornication. now, what does the Bible say about fornication? read on…

I Corinthians 6

please understand that i am not being judgemental here, that’s why i just quoted some verses (yes, i’m getting defensive). and it doesn’t mean that i can give an assurance/guarantee that i will never be involved in this act. and i am praying for God to help me and give me strength and take control over me.

moreover, i always believe in second, third chances. God can even give more other chances for us – and He is just waiting for us to go to Him. God bless us all!
